Beetroot Mixed Vegetable Zing

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 beetroot, peeled and chopped
- 3 celery sticks, chopped
- 2 green apples, chopped
- 1 organic lemon, chopped whole
- 1/3 medium sized white cabbage
- a bunch of carrot top greens
- 1/4 cucumber
- 3 leaves purple lettuce
- 1 inch size of ginger root
Wash everything and chop as indicated. Place in your juicer and ideally, serve straight away, as the juice will lose its freshness and vitality over time. You may store the juice in a refrigerator for 24 hours, but it is always best to consume fresh.
It is recommended to soak any greens in a water-vinegar mixture for five minutes to remove any pesticides etc. Ideally, you should try to buy organic if possible, this will ensure that pesticides will not be present.
